This group covers the bars, diners, family restaurants, fast-food spots and other kitchens that serve pizza alongside a broader menu. Standard US restaurant norms apply: lunch and dinner service with a quieter stretch between, cards and tap-to-pay accepted almost everywhere, and a tip of 15-20% customary for table service. Bars check ID for anyone who looks under 30, and the drinking age is 21 nationwide. Sports bars fill up on game nights and often run pizza-and-pitcher specials; diners and fast-food chains keep long hours, sometimes around the clock. Sales tax is added at the register on top of menu prices.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. Typical hours are 11 amโ9 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (336) 781-0042. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. More information is available on its website, habanerohighpoint.com.
Customers rate it 4.9 out of 5 on Google across 117 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded mexican restaurants in High Point.
High Point is in North Carolina, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and High Point follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

5 stars for sure! Food and service were amazing! Everything we ordered was delicious ๐ If you go for the first time definitely get the quesabirria tacos and chorizo dip with cheese. They also brought us a sampler of sauces and brought us more chips when we finished the first batch. The chips were warm and fresh and we could tell they were homemade. If you like Mexican food this restaurant is a must try!

First time visiting this restaurant. Walk in the door and immediately felt at home with the staff welcoming you and taking us to our seats. I believe the manager was the first to talk to us and offer us drinks and if we wanted the hot salsa tray which you definitely need to try, great salsas! The tomato based salsa was delicious as well!!!! Very cold beer on tap, and they have 1.99 special on tap every day!!! Awesome! My mother ordered a cheese enchilada and rice, My wife order shrimp tacos and I ordered the Fajitas with steak, chicken and shrimp. Every dish was hot and delicious. Chips were hot and with the cheese dip they gave us was so good I put some on my fajitas. We have found a gem in High Point for great food and service. We will be back shortly! Thank you!

We came here for date night and were beyond impressed!!! We've been fans of mi pueblo for 15+ years.... That was our go to Mexican Restaurant. Hate to break it to them, but this place now takes #1 for Mexican Restaurants in the triad in our opinion!!!! Absolutely 5/5 stars on everything!!!! The atmosphere, the food, the staff, the prices, the options to choose from, just everything.... But don't take my word for it! Go check them out! Manny, the owner, our server and all staff were extremely nice and attentive to our needs. You couldn't ask for a better experience. As a family run business, they truly treat you like you are a guest in their home. They go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and welcomed. They take pride in the quality of food and service they provide, which is something that is very rare to find these days. My husband and I ordered a few different things to try together. We'll definitely be back and this is our new spot for Mexican Food!!! Support local family business and be sure to check them out soon! Wesleyan families!!! This would be a great spot to go either before or after games! I could totally see this being the new hang out spot for high school

Delicious chips! Hot sauces were fantastic. Regular salsa was just ok- kind of like tomato sauce and not chunky at all. Quesabirria tacos were amazing and the lunch special El Agave (mini chicken & mini beef burrito w/rice) was also really good. So many choices, we'll have to keep coming back. No liquor license yet as of Dec. 27 but that's ok- for now ๐
